The EliteNAS EN424W+BXE NAS / iSCSI Unified Storage is a comprehensive feature-rich 4U 24-bay NAS rackmount with Intel Westmere Xeon Quad-Core, 4.8GT/s Quick Path Interconnect processor and 4GB DDR-3 ECC memory. Based on Microsoft Storage Server 2008, R2 the EN424W+BXE is a performance tuned NAS server with iSCSI initiator and target support, unified file-level based and block-level based access in the storage. Advance storage technologies such as file de-duplication (SIS, Single-Instance Storage), replication (DFSR, Distributed File System Replication) and snapshot (VSS, Volume Shadow Copy Service) are provided without additional cost. Built-in hardware RAID 5 and 6 protections with up to 72TB of storage capacity and dual Gigabit Ethernet ensures optimal performance in your storage environment. Built-in hot-swappable redundant power supplies, along with the RAID 1 for OS hard drives, minimize the downtime. With industry's first built-in mini-SAS expansion port, the EN424W+BXE allows expansion of up to 7 more additional EliteSTOR SAS Expander JBOD storages, or a total of 122 drives, making a total of 366TB storage capacity in a network sharing or iSCSI environment. | |
